So, whatca been up to Fred Moody?

While I still need you to be around, you’ve been doing some writing for the Seattle Times magazine. Of course, not a publication I get to read very often.

Older, Richer, Bigger: Grand schemes and dying dreams on Bainbridge

A Man, A Fence, An Empire

Images become treasures to grieving parents

David Ishii, Bookseller: In his life and in his store, he chronicles the city’s story

Taming The Next Big Thing: Beyond the booms and busts, the story of our selves

Old News: Staying forever young is a losing battle

Never again, New York: Authorship for no fun and no profit

If you find Fred, please let me know. I would love to talk to him.

I reference one of his pieces from 1994! It’s still relevant.

My opinion of Fred is somewhat other. During his tenure as an online columnist, his frequent uninformed attacks against Linux — for no other apparent reason than its mere existence — really began to wear. While I wish him no ill, I do hope that he’s tempered his pen some.

My name is Brian Holman. I am former Seattle Mariner pitcher. I am trying to contact Fred Moody. He wrote an article about me in the Seattle Weekly back in 1991. Was wanting to try to get a copy from him. Any help you could provide would be most appreciated. Thaanks, Brian
